     Date: Tuesday 12th March 2019

     Schedule of the Event

6.30pm – 9.30pm  – The Innovation, Energy and Careers Fair

The ‘Innovation, Energy and Careers Fair’ will provide students with the opportunity to speak to potential future employers by bringing together various energy experts, companies, start-ups, students and academics. This event will allow students to understand and become more knowledgeable of the work being done throughout the energy industry in Ireland. Companies such as Gas Networks Ireland and ESB will promote their work and allow their ideas and methods to inspire others. As this year’s theme is “Changing for our Climate”, there will also be a number of climate organisations present. There will be refreshments provided at the fair as well as music from NUIG’s very own orchestra society.

10pm – Late  – Futher Networking – Busker Browns Bar Galway

To end the Galway Energy Summit 2019 , our further networking event will be held in Buskers Browne’s located in Cross Street, Galway City. For this event we have linked up with Jameson Whiskey who will supply a welcoming drink on arrival. The further networking event will be co-hosted by the Climate Cocktail club – Ray O’Neil and Tom Popple. The Climate Cocktail Club (CCC) is a networking platform for sustainability professionals who like cocktails. Founded by Tom and Ray for no other reason than to get to know and connect like-minded people over a drink or two. Initially launched in Dublin, CCC gathered the attention of would-be clubbers across Ireland and internationally. With new chapters launched in Amsterdam, Cork, Colombo and London, and interest shown in Scotland, Sweden and beyond.
